This study investigates whether persons with disabilities (PwD) in Indonesia face a double burden by being more susceptible to chronic diseases in addition to their existing disabilities. Using quantitative analysis of national survey data, the research examines the relationship between disability status and the likelihood of suffering from chronic diseases, highlighting the compounding health disadvantages faced by PwD. The findings contribute to the sociological and public health discourse on disability, chronic illness, and social inequality in Indonesia.
